HarbourLink FastTrack Project

State government turns down funding offer?

NSW State Government turns down $250,00 funding for HarbourLink FastTrack on offer from North Sydney Council and Federal Government.

North Sydney Council has shown their support for HarbourLink FastTrask by offering to allocate $50,000 to boost $150,000 already budgetted by Transport for NSW this financial year for this corridor. This $200,000 could then be used to match grants available from the Federal Government under the Liveable Cities program.

$400,000 would fund far more extensive design, approvals and impact assessment than the $150,000 already allocated, especially if the focus is on Stage 1 HarbourLink, prioity link off the Sydney Harbour Bridge to Bradfield Park.

$400,000 could make THIS a reality within just a few years, not decades away.

TAKE ACTION NOW

Time is limited. Applications for Federal Funding need to submitted by 15 December, but Transport for NSW is not interested in this potential extra $250,000. Email your Roads and Transport Minister and ask them to instruct their departments to take this proposal seriously and promptly work with North Sydney Council to apply for this funding for HarbourLink FastTrack.
